HISTORY
CMC Rocks, the premier country music festival in Australia, is a celebration that unites fans with the heart and soul of country music. Born from a passion for the genre, CMC Rocks had its humble beginnings in the early 2000s through a vision realised by the pioneering spirits of Rob Potts and Michael Chugg. Rob Potts, a visionary in the country music scene, played a pivotal role in shaping the festival, bringing to life his dream of creating a platform where fans could immerse themselves in the music and camaraderie that defines the country music community, bridging the gap from Australia to Nashville. Alongside him, Michael Chugg, an industry heavyweight renowned for his expertise in event management, added his flair to the mix, contributing to the festival's growth and success. Together, their passion and dedication set the stage for what would become an iconic celebration of country music, capturing the hearts of fans and artists alike. Today, CMC Rocks stands as a living legacy, a testament to the enduring impact of Potts and Chugg on Australia's country music landscape.
