Bus Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions are Binding: Bus Tickets are sold or given and admission to the Bus is granted on the express condition that you are bound by these Bus Terms and Conditions and any other rules and regulations issued by Promoter or the Bus Operator (Bus Service T+Cs). By purchasing a Bus Ticket and/or accessing the Bus service you agree to be bound by the Bus Service T+Cs.

  1. Bus Operator: Promoter has engaged Southern Cross Transit (Qld) Pty Ltd who is authorised by Queensland Transport to operate Southern Cross Transit buses and coaches under authorisation number 900310163 (Bus Operator).
  2. Access: Bus Tickets can only be purchased by patrons holding a valid 2025 Full Festival Ticket OR Single Day Ticket.
  3. Admission: admission to the Bus will only be granted with the presentation of a valid Bus Single Day Return Ticket or Bus Weekend Ticket via your AXS Mobile ID Account.
  4. One Ticket Per Person: Bus Tickets apply to one (1) person only. Bus Tickets do not permit entry to the Festival Site.
  5. Days and Hours of Operation: Bus Operator will endeavour to operate all Bus services as per the advertised schedule: https://www.cmcrocks.com/transport-general. Neither the Promoter nor the Bus Operator will be held liable for any failure to meet the advertised Bus schedule.
  6. Bus Schedule Subject to Change: Bus service times are current at the time of publication however Promoter reserves the right to make changes and update the Bus service schedule at any time. All changes will published here: https://www.cmcrocks.com/transport-general.
  7. Luggage: Bus Operator’s personnel shall be the sole judge as to whether and to what extent your luggage and effects can be carried on the Bus.
    1. Weight: No one piece of luggage is to exceed 10kgs.
    2. Undercarriage Luggage: 1 Bag per person/child (approx 60cm x 20 cm case or soft bag). Do not attach your sleeping bag or pillow to your case/bag.
    3. Loading Undercarriage Luggage: you are responsible for placing your baggage in the undercarriage of the Bus under the guidance and supervision of Bus Operator’s personnel. Bus Operator’s personnel may, but are not obliged, to assist in loading the luggage.​
    4. Onboard Luggage: only small carry-on bags, sleeping bags and pillows are permitted onboard and must be placed in luggage racks or under your seat. Bus Operator’s personnel will assist if they are able to where necessary.
  8. Food & Drinks: plastic and metal water bottles filled with water only may be taken on board the Bus. No other beverages to be consumed on the Bus. No food or chewing gum to be consumed on the Bus.
  9. Smoking, Alcohol & Illicit Substances: no smoking, vaping, alcohol or illicit substances are to be consumed on the Bus. If you are under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs you may be refused carriage.  If you are deemed by Bus Operator’s personnel as likely to become objectionable or unruly towards other persons inside or outside the Bus or may become sick or abusive may be refused carriage.
  10. Passenger Conduct: you must wear a seatbelt (where fitted) and must be seated when the Bus is moving. You are not permitted to place any part of your body outside the Bus whilst the Bus is moving.
  11. Prohibited Items: refer to the Festival Prohibited Items  for a full list of all prohibited items. These items are also prohibited on the Bus.
  12. Lost Property: any lost property found between Wednesday 19 March 2025 and Sunday 23 March 2025 will be returned to the Festival Site and registered in a Lost & Found Register. Lost property can be collected from the Festival’s Lost & Found Service during Festival operating hours. Any lost property found on Monday 24 March 2024 will be returned to the Bus Operator’s office located at 251-253 Mt Crosby Road, Karalee 4306 QLD and registered in a Lost & Found Register and will be available for collection between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Promoter and Bus Operator are not responsible for lost property that is not recovered.
  13. Right of Refusal and Removal: the Bus Operator personnel are responsible for the safety of the Bus.  If your conduct is in breach of statutory regulations you may be removed from the Bus or prevented from boarding on the Bus driver’s authority. The Bus driver is authorised to have an unruly passenger removed, who is threatening or placing the Bus driver or passengers in a dangerous situation. The Bus driver reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger, luggage or goods without giving any reason.
  14. Directions of Festival Personnel: all reasonable directions of Festival personnel and all signage and directions displayed in and around all designated Bus stops at the Festival Site must be followed.
  15. Directions of Bus Driver and/ or Bus Operator Representatives: all reasonable directions of the Bus driver and/or Bus Operator representatives, all signage and directions displayed in and around all designated bus stops must be followed.
  16. Promoter’s Liability: the services provided by Promoter and Bus Operator will be rendered with due care and skill to the extent required by the Competition and Consumer Act (Cth) 2010 and applicable similar state legislation. Apart from such statutory liability, Promoter and Bus Operator will not be liable or responsible for any injury, damage or loss suffered or incurred by you or any person entering or when you enter or are on a Bus whether caused by the negligence of Promoter and/or Bus Operator (or their respective employees or agents), whether arising in tort, contract, bailment or otherwise.
  17. Indemnity: you agree to indemnify Promoter and Bus Operator (as applicable) against any loss or damage Promoter and/or Bus Operator suffer arising out of your negligence or breach of the Bus Service T+Cs.
  18. Release: to the full extent permitted by law, you waive all legal rights of action against and fully release Promoter and Bus Operator (and their respective executive members, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors or agents) from any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, death, economic loss or consequential loss for any default, failure or negligence (to the extent permitted by law) in relation to entry to and presence on the Bus.
  19. Risk: you use the Bus at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Promoter and Bus Operator take no responsibility for any personal or property damage, loss or injury. In the event of injury or illness Promoter and/or Bus Operator may in its discretion, at your cost, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed necessary for your safety or the safety of other patrons on the Bus.
  20. Enforceability: any provision of the Bus Service T+Cs which is or becomes unenforceable shall not invalidate the other provisions of the Bus Service T+Cs.
  21. Variation to Terms and Conditions: Promoter may vary these Bus Service T+Cs at any time without notice. Any variations become effective immediately once the variation has been published on Promoter’s website. Any variations will not operate retrospectively.
  22. Dictionary: in these Bus Service T+Cs the following words have the following meanings:
    1. Promoter means CMC Rocks Pty Ltd (ABN 29 614 691 977) of 135 Forbes Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW 2011.
    2. you and your means all persons accessing the Bus whether or not those persons have purchased the Bus Ticket.
    3. Festival Site means the area designated by the Promoter located at Willowbank Raceway, 38 Champions Way, Willowbank, QLD 4306
